What is NOT Allowed:
-Hats, stocking caps, hoods, bandannas, headscarves, sunglasses, or headwear
-Holes or rips in jeans
-Clothes designed as sleepwear (this includes pajama pants/bottoms).
-House shoes/slippers
-Chains or spikes worn on clothing or as accessories, even as belts.
-Shirts containing offensive images, symbols or words (Racial or cultural, profanity, sexually suggestive, alcohol, tobacco, or drugs or advertise a business that sells these)
-Visible body piercing jewelry other than through the ears (ear gages are not permitted)
-Bare midriffs, “crop” tops, or tank tops
-Mesh tops or see-through material unless another shirt made of non-see-through material is worn underneath
-Spaghetti straps or off-the-shoulder shirts or dresses
-Bandannas, gang or drug-related clothing or clothing with insignia representative of gangs -Trench coats -Clothing for sororities or any type of group initiation
-Uniforms worn for extracurricular activities that do not follow dress code -Bare feet
-Spandex tights worn together with a T-shirt or sweatshirt
-Any other clothing that administration considers as inappropriate or offensive ---
미쿡의 공립학교(고딩) 드레스 코드라고 한다.
흔히 미국애들은 자유롭고, 패션도 화려하며, 귀는 서너개씩 뚫고, 혀빠닥 구멍은 기본.
배꼽구멍은 기본 이라고 생각한다.
나도 저글을 보기전까지는 그럴꺼라생각했다.
실제 한국에 들어와있는 외국강사들중 상당수가 피어싱(혀바닥) 을 하고있다.
몇년전 회화 선생이었던 제이미도 혀바닥에 쇠를 박고 다녓다.
귀에는 두개..
왜그러냐고 물었더니, 여자들이 혀바닥에 쇠가 있으면 좋아한다고 한다.
아마 키스나 응응응 할때 것지.
근데 그녀석은 캐나디언 이었다.
어메리컨이 아니었단말이지.
간혹 미국에대해 오해하고 있는건 아닌가 하고 생각이든다.
현재 자주보는 캐나디언이 있다
그는 캐나다에가면 쇠사슬을 추렁추렁 달고다닌다.
언제부턴가 백인은 다 똑같다고 생각하는 경향이 있는데 나라색이 좀있나보다.
어쨋든 내가 갖고있는 미쿡에대한 생각은 초큼 잘못된 것이었던거같다.
